![]() And thankfully, the stories in “Star Wars: Age of Rebellion – Villains” – mostly – live up to their dark pedigree. That, ladies and gentleman, is one heckuva lineup of villains. Nothing beats the time setting of the original trilogy.ĭarth Vader. This might be a case of Disney ironing out the wrinkles because they have done it before or me enjoying it more because of the time setting of this collection. I liked this collection and it is a step up from previous collections that housed short stories. What sold me on these two was that it seemed like a wink to the audience of why these two characters have become insanely popular even though they were originally just minor characters. Jabba's story was the only one I did not like and I really liked Fett and IG-88's stories. As for the stories they are not truly relevant to the overall arc but are just instances in each character's lives. The artwork has not been bad in any collection that I have read. Once again, the artwork excels in this trilogy and that is one thing Disney has gotten right with its comics. I thought this collection was a step up from that collection. The characters in this collection are Grand Moff Tarkin, Boba Fett, Jabba, Darth Vader, and IG-88.ĭisney did a similar collection for the prequel trilogy. This is a collection of short stories of villains that appear during the original trilogy.
